These sessions are designed to expose young faculty and graduate students from the life sciences to the entrepreneurial world. Each seminar is centered around a business school-like case.
2017 Sessions
This first lecture in the Columbia Precision Medicine Initiative, Life Science Entrepreneurship seminar series, features a discussion with two of Regeneron’s leadership team: President and CSO George Yancopoulos, MD, PhD, and President and CEO of Regeneron, Leonard Schleifer, MD, PhD. The panel, moderated by the Director of the Columbia Precision Medicine Initiative Tom Maniatis, PhD, covers the life-cycle of an idea from basic research to a commercially viable product with a focus on Target Patient, Value Proposition and Forecasting; Attracting Investors; Clinical Development and Regulatory Pathways.
