Dr. Simon John, renowned glaucoma researcher, has joined Columbia

His research focuses on the molecular basis of glaucoma, using a variety of molecular, cellular and physiological methods to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of this disease.

Dr. Simon John, renowned glaucoma researcher, has joined Columbia, In the Department of Ophthalmology. His research focuses on the molecular basis of glaucoma, using a variety of molecular, cellular and physiological methods to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of this disease. Dr. John comes from Jackson Laboratory in Maine, where he has been for the pas 20 years. He is also an HHMI investigator, focusing on therapeutic strategies against glaucoma.
