Pharmacogenomics: Ready for Primetime or Hype?

Speaker: Dr. Teri Klein; Professor Departments of Biomedical Data Science, Medicine ( Biomedical Informatics Research) and Genetics Stanford University

Dr. Teri Klein  is a leading expert in pharmacogenomics and clinical genomics. She serves as contact PI for the Pharmacogenomics Knowledgebase (PharmGKB), the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC), and the ClinGen program, among other national initiatives. Her work focuses on understanding how genetic variation influences drug response and on translating that knowledge into clinical practice. At Stanford Health Care, she is leading efforts to implement pharmacogenomics into patient care, while also developing cutting-edge tools and resources that advance precision medicine worldwide.
